Straddling the Lines

I straddle the lines of life.

Culture lines, and behavior lines.

Constant shifts in being.

Life as a straddler is joyful and yet, confusing.

Straddling is not for everyone,

composed one moment a puddle of emotion the next.

One must be ok to live in the paradox of life.

Must learn to find deep comfort, in the discomfort,

not being clear about who one is.

Life would be easier, in the simplicity of staying on one.

But then who would I be without the dichotomy of me.
